Filming of the twentieth James Bond movie commenced on January 14, 2002, with Lee Tamahori (Once Were Warriors) directing. Early plot rumours point to some sort of supervillain with a villainous scheme, but details remain sketchy.

The confirmed title of the new James Bond movie is Die Another Day. The film is due for release in the US and UK on 22/11/2002. It has been confirmed that Madonna will indeed sing the title tune.
